Rangers have targeted young Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos and are believed to be confident of completing the signing subject to a work permit being granted.
The promising 20 year old Colombian, who made his debut for the national Under 20 team in 2015, has been playing in Finland for HJK and has caught the eye with an incredible goals tally which has earned him the nickname of 'Goaleador'.
Morelos scored 3 goals in 6 Europa League appearances for HJK and scored 30 goals in 43 appearances for them in 2016.
He appears to be the perfect foil for the more physical Eduardo Herrera who Rangers are also confident of signing subject to work permit clearance.
His signing would be yet another indication of Pedro Caixinha's determination to remodel his squad and Rangers fans will be hoping Morelos can replicate his scoring form should the deal be completed.
